More than 5,000 young people from across the country gathered together today at the Convention Centre in Dublin for FÍS 2026, the largest youth event ever held through Irish. The landmark conference, organised by Conradh na Gaeilge as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge, brings together secondary school students, college students, young professionals, creators, businesses and Irish language organisations to highlight the opportunities connected with living a bilingual life. Pictured on main stage were panelists Peadar Ó Caomhánaigh, host and Communications Manager, Éadaoin Fitzmaurice, Instagram and TikTok star, DJ Próvaí from Kneecap, Róisín Seoighe, singer with IMLÉ and Ambassador for Seachtain na Gaeilge 2026 and Caitríona Kenny from Dublin City Council.

The campaign was launched by Minister for Tourism Peter Burke at an event in MoLI, Museum of Literature Ireland, in Dublin city centre, attended by tourism industry stakeholders. The campaign encourages those who already take short breaks to take more of them throughout the year, supporting key national tourism policy objectives by driving off‑peak activity, enhancing competitiveness and promoting a more even geographic spread of tourism activity. This approach contributes to the long‑term resilience and regional vitality of the sector.
Dublin Airport strikes a chord with new music wall celebrating Ireland’s greatest artists. Dublin Airport is turning up the volume on its passenger welcome with the unveiling of a new music wall in Terminal 1, celebrating some of Ireland’s most iconic performers. Located in the arrivals corridor of Pier 2 in Terminal 1, the vibrant installation features striking images of 11 legendary Irish acts, including U2, Thin Lizzy, The Cranberries, Christy Moore and Sinéad O’Connor. The wall was officially opened this week by Conor Egan, Danny O’Reilly and Graham Knox from The Coronas, who also feature in the display.

What an incredible experience working as an event photographer at the Pendulum Summit in the Convention Centre Dublin. Spending the day capturing the energy of the audience and the insight of such an inspiring lineup was a real privilege. From powerful moments on stage with Brené Brown, Rory Sutherland, Richard Susskind, Dr Norah Patten, Rhys McClenaghan, Niall Breslin, Marc Randolph (Netflix Co-Founder), Amy Morin, and Alison Levine, to the countless conversations and reactions among attendees — the atmosphere was electric from start to finish.

Saddened hearing the passing of designer Paul Costelloe. I photographed him for the first time in 2018. He generously gave everyone he met a unique sketch of a designer outfit. His talent and skill impressed all generations who queued to meet him. He was a true gentleman with his time. This brief encounter I will never forget. May he rest in peace.

SPOOKY HAPPENINGS AT WHITEHALL COLLEGE! Today I had the incredible honour to capture the conferring of the Honorary Freedom of the City of Dublin on President Barack Obama by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Councillor Ray McAdam at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin. This was a private event with just one photographer to capture the moments. I want to thank @dublincitycouncil and @ray.mcadam for trusting me to take these photos that will be part of Dublin history. It was an event like no other and was definitely a career highlight. #obama

Over 3,000 young people from across Ireland came together for Foróige Amplified 2025 in Knockmore, Co. Mayo on Saturday, July 5th. The youth-led, alcohol-free music festival featured a stellar lineup including DJ Avocado, iRadio’s Steven Cooper and Sharron Lynskey, SPIN’s Marty Guilfoyle, DJ Ois Bosh and headliners New Era. Organised entirely by young people and Foróige volunteers, the festival created an electric atmosphere filled with music, colour and connection - all within a safe, inclusive space. #foróige
